First of all, NG4..is not starting as Ryu Hayabusa as the main this time. We got a brand new character and a young prodigy of the Raven Clan known as "Yakumo". Pretty much on how the story goes is that "The Dark Dragon" has return. The last time I heard about it was from NG1 where Ryu actually destroy The Dark Dragon Blade when he defeated Murai and he fought the Dragon twice in "Dragon Sword" & "NG2" as a boss. Now its revived again only this time, the Dragon's Husk was left behind despite Ryu's efforts to kill it. Only creating a Rain Of Darkrot and turning Tokyo into The City Of Evil. Preventing more destruction, Ryu was able to free the priestess of the Dark Dragon, teamed up with the Divine Dragon Order and ritually sealed the weapons around Tokyo to prevent the Dark Dragon's Husk to do even more damage. In order to destroy it for good is purify its soul and only a master of the Raven Clan can do it. AND THAT IS YAKUMO! With the instruction from Seori, the priestess and in order to purify the soul, the Dark Dragon needs to be resurrected again in order to purify. Taking the risk of doing so, Yakumo has go through the DDO, the fiends of the Underworld & Ryu Hayabusa in order to make this happen.
