Here, I show off the different death scenes in the game. Unfortunately, unlike previous Prime games, there isn’t a unique one for the Morph Ball, or even Vi-O-La. Guess there’s a unique Game Over if one of the Federation Troopers die. After that, I show off how the amiibos work. Every Metroid amiibo, whether it’s from Smash Bros., Samus Returns, or Dread, simply play a sound effect from Prime 4. The Samus amiibo for Prime 4 gives you a daily shield that can take 99 points of damage and it unlocks the Vi-O-La Radio that allows you to change the music that plays while riding Vi-O-La in Sol Valley. The Sylux amiibo for Prime 4 simply plays random lines from Sylux every time you scan it. Also, it unlocks the full cutscene that showcases his past if you have beaten the game, but haven’t obtained 100% Items and Scans. The Samus + Vi-O-La amiibo for Prime 4 unlocks unique skins for Vi-O-La depending on how far you’ve driven on it. You also get the Boost Recovery increase, which makes it very easy to travel the desert with constant boosts.
