The goal is not to fight or destroy this side, but to meet it with curiosity so its energy stops sabotaging you from the unconscious and starts working with you instead. You can do this by noticing what strongly triggers you in others, owning that those traits may also live in you, and taking time to reflect, journal, or meditate on these reactions rather than just acting them out. 1. As you listen to the binaural beats, allow your body to relax and your mind to soften, knowing you’re creating a safe space to explore your unconscious “shadow” side. You don't have to listen to the entire audio to do so - 20 minutes is sufficient. Though we have made this a 10 hour audio for those who wish to do longer, deeper sessions. 2. Remember that the shadow is not an enemy but your hidden traits and emotions (like anger, fear, jealousy, power, or desire) that you usually deny or judge, and your goal is to get curious about them, not destroy them. 3. While the audio plays, notice any strong reactions, memories, or images that surface—especially around what triggers you in others—and quietly admit, “This might be in me too,” without blaming or shaming yourself. 4. In your mind, imagine a safe inner place and ask your unconscious mind what it’s protecting you from, and what it needs you to see, then just listen while the sound supports you. 5. When the session ends, treat whatever you discovered with respect, then choose one small real‑life conscious action that honours what you learned (like admitting a negative feeling or negative trait in yourself which you may have identified). What you are about to hear is scientifically proven to be beneficial to the brain. ➤ Study 1: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... ➤ Study 2: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29222... ➤ Study 3: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28145... ➤ Study 4: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... ➤ Study 5: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32564... ➤ Study 6: https://academic.oup.com/sleep/articl... ➤ Study 7: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... ➤ Study 8: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles... ➤ Study 9: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11191... ➤ Study 10: https://www.nature.com/articles/s4159... ➤ How does EMDR work? The individual is processing the trauma with both hemispheres of the brain stimulated. The chosen positive belief is then installed, via bilateral movement, to replace the negative one. Each session normally lasts for about one hour. It is believed that EMDR works because the “bilateral stimulation” by-passes the area of the brain that has become stuck due to the trauma and is preventing the left side of the brain from self-soothing the right side of the brain. It is rare but sometimes a headache may occur as a result of EMDR, this is because your right and left brain hemispheres aren't used to 'talking' to one another to defeat trauma, this is essentially the brain's way of healing itself and the headache will be temporary. EMDR uses rapid eye movement to access both sides of the brain to process thoughts, however bilateral sound uses sound to access both sides of the brain to process thought. The ultimate result is the same. The sole reason we use 'EMDR' in our titles is to help people who are reaching out to find 'EMDR' videos using the eyes (which are scarcely available). This audio acts as a very powerful alternative. Please see this article for more information: https://emdrhealing.com/visual-audio-... A general guideline is to listen for at least 15 to 30 minutes. For deeper effects, such as enhanced sleep or deeper meditation, listening for an hour or more can be beneficial. It's essential to listen to your body and mind's responses and adjust accordingly. Longer sessions can provide more profound benefits, but even short periods can offer significant relaxation and healing effects. #unconsciousmind #theshadow #carljung To buy any of our Music (Patrons or Members get discounts / FREE tracks per month depending on level) simply visit: https://meditationalstate.com/product...
