Forest Watcher is a free mobile app for forest monitoring and reporting designed to take GFW data into the field. The app allows users to easily access GFW's forest change data, monitor areas of interest, navigate to alerts, and collect information about what they find. Forest Watcher puts the latest forest change data, coupled with easy-to-use reporting tools, directly in the hands of those monitoring forests. Much of the work in implementing Forest Watcher will be done by conservation groups, government agencies, and organizations that work directly with forest monitoring communities. This webinar provides guidance on how to train and support others to use Forest Watcher. It shares training guidance, advice for troubleshooting, and tutorial materials.
