First-Time Spawning to Bulk: Appalachian Enoki & King Oyster with Fungal Updates!

Join me as I take our Appalachian Enoki and King Oyster cultures to the next stage, by spawning them to bulk substrate for the very first time! These cultures have been featured in previous videos where we tested liquid cultures and performed inoculations and now it’s time to watch them thrive. We’ll also check in on our autoclavable tubs with an update on colonization rates and compare the four tubs spawned to bulk with four additional tubs I’ve prepared. We Also revisit the spawn tent to assess colonization progress and reevaluate one of our Appalachian Enoki spawn bags. A sealing method I experimented with may have slowed colonization leading to a potential reinoculation experiment for a future video.
