Maharajan and produced by Dharmendra. It stars Sunny Deol, and also features Shilpa Shetty, Danny Denzongpa, Raj Babbar, Mukesh Rishi and Rahul Dev. This film revolves around a retired Indian Army officer (played by Sunny Deol) who takes it upon himself to fight against corruption and injustice prevailing in society. "Indian" had a patriotic theme and showcased the protagonist's determination to tackle societal issues. Indian Hindi Movie Synopsis : A policeman, Raj, nabs a terrorist, Wasim Khan, and is praised by his father-in-law, another high-ranking officer. However, when his father-in-law is mysteriously killed, Raj is blamed for the murder. Indian Movie Plot : DCP Rajashekhar Azad lives with his wife Anjali and they both have two children. Rajashekhar arrests Waseem Khan, a dreaded terrorist having connections with industrialist Shankar Singhania, and learns that his father-in-law DGP Surya Pratap Singh is also involved with Waseem Khan. Rajashekhar kills Surya, which makes Anjali to leave Rajashekhar. Rajashekhar takes the help of youths, who are disillusioned by their inability to join the police force, and manages to kill Shankar and Waseem Khan.
