In this video, we have summed up the whole Mediation Process for a harmonized insight. Firstly, the problem between the parties is narrated. Further, -[] Introduction of the Mediator Mediator introduce themselves and about the experience they have. -[] Introduction of the Parties Parties introduce themselves and explain about their authority and decision making power. -[] Opening statement of the mediator The mediator appreciates the parties for choosing mediation instead of litigation and asks if the parties have the authority to make decisions. Then explains the whole mediation process to the parties. [] Opening statements of the parties The requesting party's counsel appreciates the responding party for agreeing to the mediation session and then 'the client' states the problem and the will to settle. The same process goes for the other party. -[] Agenda formulation Based on the Opening statements amicably the agenda is framed. Then decisions on the agenda start. -[] Private caucus The private caucus is a confidential meeting held by the mediator with individual parties. It can be called by the parties or even the mediator. -[] Resumption of Joint session The information discussed in the private caucus is taken into consideration and the discussion again starts. -[] Closing statements Everyone appreciates each other for reaching a solution. The mediator formally lays down the agreement.
