Can you believe this is the EXACT same RR that I've been railfanning in Baltimore's Robert E. Lee Park?? Well, it once kept on going and wound up here-Northumberland! And here's the onetime station! The NCRY originally ran from Baltimore MD to Sunbury PA (across the Susquehanna River from Northumberland). Through acquisitions, they actually made it to Canada! The entire line survives, minus the section from Cockeysville MD to New Freedom PA. The line was taken over in the 1880s by the mighty Penn and reduced to Northern Central "Branch." Of course, now, it's operated by Norfolk Southern. Note the YPL (three yellow position lights) as opposed to the CPLs B&O uses. This is proof of PRR's takeover of the line in the 1880s. Shot in Sony 8mm on hi-grade Sony tape.
