On this car the cables between the battery (under the rear seat) to the junction box under the cover in the boot/ trunk are always live (roughly 300V) until the service plug is removed. **** Today the primates got to look at the privates of a BYD E6. This was (I think) BYD's first attempt at a car. Overall it's OK but there's the big safety issue above. I hope I'm wrong and that I've missed something but this is my assessment based on stripping this car. Service Plug Location: This is located under a cover in the storage box between the front seats.
