As mentioned before, I love my fabric tail from Finfolk. They make incredible, top-quality products with love, grace and skill. In this video you can see the Finis Shooter monofin and Mahina in comparison underwater alone and within the tail. I am attempting to make the tail more efficient and altered it to create drainage holes. I also altered my Mahina merfin to fit inside this fabric tail, this video provides a close up of both alterations and how. Tips: When inserting the Mahina, leave the laminate casing inside. Fold the Mahina to create less stress on the zipper while you are inserting the fin. When swimming with the Mahina inside the fabric tail, slow down your stroke to enunciate your movements.
