Just a short look at my Tento Binoculars I incorrectly said made by ЗОМЗ-ZOMZ when one pair where made by SOMZ (Salavatskii Optiko - Mekhanicheski Zavod) Thanks to Alexander Orlov for the correction. Carl Ziess 10x50 for comparison... The thing I don't quite put quite enough stress on is just how clear and sharp the image is in these binoculars is, they really do stand comparison with more recent kit...A great value used bu...y however prices are creeping up! Check out http://www.novacon.com.br/h3adde02.htm which is a Brazilian web site lists a large number of Russian optical companies with their trade marks.... SOMZ appears to have gone out of business looking them up ЗОМЗ-ZOMZ Are still in business check out their web site it's in Russian and English
