Step by step instructions of the installation of SUPPAPARTS watch band adaptors on a Citizen Promaster Aqualand BN20. This installation was not done by a watchmaker or a watch service centre. Care must be taken for the removal of the old band and the retaining pins. Only quality tools required are: a pair of pliers with perfectly flat inner jaws (so as not to damage the surface of the pin) and a quality Hex key (to replace the watch maker's punch) is used to partially push the pin out for access to the pliers, and instead of using a watchmaker's hammer, a small block of of hardwood with paper tape over the end is used. The tape help to prevent the wood from slipping off the end of the pin when struck. To set the pins beneath the surface of the adaptors, an old pin/s are used as a mini punch and again the small piece wood as a hammer to gently tap this pin against the pin in the watch so it sits beneath the surface. For this final step, the watch was supported over a piece of high density foam to absorb any shock. If you do not feel capable of performing such a task then better pay someone in a shop to do it.
