It's so quick and easy to do this, and a great skill to have - as there will be lots of times during your DIY career when you need to slightly move screw holes eg when fitting new hinges to a door, or when you you have a screw that won't tighten in its hole. So the trick is to take an every day match and simply tap it into the existing hole, and like me in this video (where I use extra large matches) you may, if your screw hole is very small, need to cut one end of the match into a fine tip to help you insert it into the hole.
