Matchbox / Revell 51st.Highland Division 1:76 Scale Plastic Soldier Conversions Review.

During the Second World War the 51st. Highland Division fought from the fall of France to the end of the end of the conflict, suffering almost 20,000 casualties in the process. Here I have converted figures from the Matchbox British Infantry,Commando and 8th Army sets to represent a battalion from this division. I have elected to give them all the characteristic 'Tam O' Shanter' headgear, despite the fact that a steel helmet was more likely to be worn in combat. This is my attempt at a 'what could have been' scenario' had Matchbox chosen to release a set like this. I hope you approve. Please Like and Subscribe. All the best.
