Grand Lake, Colorado Adventure (Aug 9-10, 2023) Hey everyone! Join me as I embark on a delightful 2-day trip to the serene Grand Lake, Colorado. On the first day, I set up camp at the picturesque Pioneer Park. Dinner was an epic campfire feast – juicy pork belly slices seasoned with onion, Kosher Salt, Black Pepper, a special seasoning blend whipped up by a friend, and of course, some butter. It was an experience that hit all the right notes. While I indulged in this, my furry friend savored some home-prepped beef. The following morning started early at 7 AM with a quick coffee boost and a refreshing walk with my dog. With a hearty breakfast to fuel us, it was straight to Grand Lake for a fishing session. The day greeted me with the capture of a vibrant 8-inch rainbow trout. Though it was the only catch in my 4-hour endeavor, the experience was far from disappointing. The sun beamed at a pleasant 75°F, and the breathtaking landscape kept me in high spirits throughout.
