A tumor is an overgrowth of the tissue. Tumors can either be a benign tumor or a malignant tumor. But, there has been confusion about what the difference between benign and malignant tumors are. To clarify the difference between these tumors, Breast Cancer Answers Medical Director Dr. Jay Harness explains that a malignant tumor is the type of tumor you need to look out for.
