PM In Bengal For Defense Meet Faces TMC Fire: Bihar Projects Met With 'Jhumla' Jibe | India Today

The Prime Minister's visit to West Bengal to launch the Armed Forces Conference has elicited a strong reaction from the TMC government. The conference, which continues until September 17th, will be attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval, and Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan. The TMC stated that while it would not comment on defence meetings, the Prime Minister's frequent visits will not alter the BJP's fortunes, adding, "the daily passenger of the Prime Minister will have zero result this time also." Following his Bengal visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to be in Purnia, Bihar, to inaugurate projects valued at Rs 36,000 crore, including a new airport.
