Join the replay of our third Advancing Food is Medicine program. Started in 2024 with programs in Colorado and Tulsa, Oklahoma, this program just outside Oklahoma City in 2025 brings together, farmers, ranchers, doctors, nutritionists, food system experts, and advocates to learn how we can prevent disease, and create paradigm shifts in our health care and agricultural communities. In the end, we connect the dots between soil health and human health. When Herb Young purchased a Georgia farm after a 40-year career in the chemical industry, he had no idea what was about to hit him. Getting his hands in the dirt taught him that that the true foundation of sustainable agriculture lies in the soil’s microbial ecology. He now spends full time in the grove testing every idea that comes to mind and nursing trees into production. Supported through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP). TOPP is a program of the USDA Organic Transition Initiative and is administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).
