Decoying MALLARDS In TIGHT Out Of The Kayak | Duck Hunting 2025

Kayak duck hunting is something I fell in love with a few years back so when I saw hundreds of mallards dumping into the back of a cattail marsh in Canada, I knew I had to get the kayak back there. I decided to scout for the first hour of the morning to try to find a duck feed but once the sun got up I headed into the marsh to catch the mid-morning flight line. After brushing in the kayak blind and tossing out a couple dozen decoys, I jumped in and the mallards started rolling. I had to work through a bit of shooting slump but the flocks of ducks just kept coming as the birds finished up feeding and came back to the water to grab a drink. Thirsty mallards, plenty of sunshine, and a black dog doing his thing made for one heck of a morning. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!
