The DRENO COVERING machine is equipped with haul-offs which pull the pipe at the same speed as the extrusion line. The pipe is covered in material in a continuous mode. The welding is also continuous and is performed by a welding head. Electronic controls adjust power according to the type of material and the welding speed. The DRENO COVERING machine is equipped with two coils. The first one feeds the fabric onto the pipe, the second one is only activated when the fabric on the first one runs out. This means the machine never has to stop to change over a coil. All machine functions can be set from the touch screen panel. System control is managed by a PLC and other electronic equipment (diameter changeovers between Ø 50 mm and Ø 200 mm do not require any additional tooling).
