Today, Friday, 28-11-2025, the king of Mampurugu (Nayiri), by the powers and customs reserved to him, performed the necessary rites to install a regent for the good people of the Nakpanduri Traditional Area in the Bunkpurugu-Nakpanduri District of the Northeast region. The event was witnessed by several traditional leaders, including all subjects of the nayiri in the district were present. For this purpose, People travelled from Togo, Burkina, Benin, etc., to come and witness these traditional rites of the Bimoba, Moba and Gurma people.
