We spent one night camping at Valley of Fire State Park and wanted to see if it was really enough time to experience it. After waking up at Lake Mead and talking about how that area has changed over the years, we packed up and made our way into one of the most dramatic desert landscapes in Nevada. From setting up camp among the red rock formations to hiking through the park the next morning, this stop reminded us why we love mixing quieter camping spots with places that completely take your breath away.
