Despite opposing Supervisor Henyard at an earlier meeting, during this July 1, 2024, special meeting of the Thornton Township Board, Trustee Jerry Jones changed his position. He sided with Trustee Gray-Everett and Supervisor Henyard, and their three votes overruled Trustees Gonzalez and Carlisle. The General Fund bills were approved.
