As Stalker 9 Golf, he rode in upper armor HMMWVs as the gunner for the platoon sergeant, Vince Foster and later led his own team under Mike Muillenburg in a string of bold, air-inserted clearance missions deep in insurgent territory. Whether kicking down doors or pushing through the palm groves of Buhriz, Jeremy was part of a lethal scout element that was often op-conned to elite units like C Troop 5-73 Airborne and the battle harden 1-12 Apache and Bonecrusher elements and later working shoulder-to-shoulder with 5-20 Infantry.
