Marc Falcó was born in Barcelona in January 1998 and fell for electronic music young. As a teenager, he gravitated toward the harsher side of the genre, finding his footing through artists like Reeko, Surgeon, and Bas Mooy - names that shaped both his sound and his understanding of techno’s countercultural values. By 2018, he launched the Ikari project out of necessity, driven by a need to show his own vision of club sound. Ikari’s approach is led by rhythm, flirting with glitch and roughness while keeping things unruly and mechanical. There’s a warlike essence buried in his tracks, but it’s balanced by groovy, slippery sequences that make the whole thing move. He draws heavily from Birmingham and Iberian techno from the early 2000s, pulling that energy into contemporary club contexts with subtle rhythmic hooks and vocal chops that lock dancers in. In 2021, Ikari founded PRX Records alongside the Grupo Asphixia collective, creating a platform for stripped-back, functional techno. His releases have landed on Suara, Drawner Records, Codec, Molekül, Canticle, and most recently NIX, where his 2025 EP When It’s Over showed a darker, more psychedelic dimension. Artists like MARRØN, Dax J, Alarico, and Rene Wise have supported his tracks, and his productions have been played in clubs worldwide. Expect tight, shock-experience techno - precise sound design that blurs organic and digital, built for the dancefloor and nothing else. 🔔 Like, Subscribe & Follow SECTION. on socials for more: Instagram: / section_hq TikTok: / section_hq Web: https://sectionhq.com/ Like what you see?
