On the Wrist, from off the Cuff: Damasko – DS30, Sinn 556 Killer?

On this episode we debut the all new DS 30 from German made brand Damasko. The DS 30 departs from their standard 40mm line and offers a 39mm case, thinned down to just under 10mm (@9.9mm) tall, with a lighter weight 56g total heft, still produced out of Damasko's signature hardened Submarine steel. When you combine that with the new TESTAF-inspired dial design, you end up with a watch that is very versatile, while also being equally capable. I'm really impressed with this piece and at the current just under $1k USD price tag, I think it also offers a ton a value for money. The DS 30 definitely belongs in the conversation along with the hugely popular Sinn 556 line and Stowa Flieger lines, when discussing the best German Pilot's watches for everyday use.
