I also share how over-indulging and binge eating led to weight gain, disconnection from my body, and a cycle of shame that fed right back into drinking and depression. Even with a very active job, I found myself becoming sedentary in my personal life—lying in bed all day when I could’ve gone for a walk, moved my body, or simply drank more water.
