Canon EOS-M6 M6 Mark II 4K Video Test This is the Canon EOS M6 Mark II 4K Video Test. I was lucky enough to get my early hands on with this camera. So this is a Demo unit. But it is still the final firmware. So in terms of the video quality. It should be the same. So when this camera announced, I was super excited. First, this is the first Canon Mirrorless camera offers no crop in 4K. This is a huge thing. Because I do own the Canon M50. Its an amazing camera for its price. But that camera has a massive crop in 4K. Almost 2.56x. So it wasn’t that useable. But this brand new M6 Mark II shoots un-cropped 4K footage. And surprisingly the 4K video is so much sharper than any other Canon mirrorless including the EOS R and EOS RP. Although I know this camera has a lot of hate since Canon has removed the 24p. But for me, I’m based in Australia. So 25p is perfect. During the test, I couldn’t install the EOSHD C-Log picture profile as the camera was not my unit. I might do another test in the future. Over all, this is very nice camera. Even though this camera still has a lot of limitations such as no Log, no IBIS, no 4K 60p and 10Bit. But it is a good start from Canon already. And I was very enjoy with the camera.
