This is part of a new playlist where I’ll include videos that focus on tiles in the classic format. For me, this means a white 3.5” square tile and black ink. We start with the four corner dots, a border, and a string as needed. These videos are great for beginners. You can find step outs for the patterns in one of the links below. Today at a local Mexican restaurant I noticed a beautiful mosaic on the back wall. The center of it looked like Flux, Mooka, and Florz, so I took a picture of it. I was having difficulty deciding what to do for a video, so I thought it would be fun to draw something like the mosaic. These are classic Zentangle patterns that are fun and easy. Most patterns that I use can be found on the Tangle Patterns website https://tanglepatterns.com/ or on the Musterquelle website: https://www.musterquelle.de/ The Musterquelle site is in German, but you can change it to your language as needed. Patterns used: Flux, Mooka, and Florz by Zentangle, Inc. Supplies Used in the video: A 3.5” tile or any paper that you have Micron 01 pen (or your choice of pens and colors) Graphite pencil Blending stump The Zentangle® Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
