Follow this link for the listing with pictures: http://acousticmusicworks.com/acousti... (NEW) - A very exciting new model, a new take on an "old" idea from the from the good folks at Huss & Dalton. We've been selling their CROSSROADS model with enthusiasm since they introduced it several years ago -- very traditional in appearance, and "vintage" in tone, this classic L-OO style guitar is the most authentic interpretation of a 30′s style L-OO that we have played. Woody, warm, bluesy, and so LIGHT! This thing weighs a little over 3.3 pounds. Did we mention that it was "light?" It practically floats, and the notes just sneak and fly out like moths escaping from a musty old guitar case. Add whisky, and you've got the blues. Features include a short 24.9″ scale for authentic bluesy feel and a really warm low end. So, always ready to take a GOOD thing to an even higher extreme, we ordered a CUSTOM Crossroads with THERMALLY-CURED ("cooked") Adirondack spruce top and what did we get? A guitar that EASILY rivals the best Walker, Kopp, and Vintage Gibsons that we have ever heard, that's what! The firestripe tortoise style pickguard adds to the authentic appeal as do the satin ebony peghead veneer, 1 and 3/4″ nut width, satin (matte) finish neck, rosewood fretboard and bridge and Gotoh KLUSON-style vintage tuners with ivoroid knobs. But the three keys are the tone, the vintage vibe and the LOW price. If you've priced comparable models, you know what a real value this represents. List Price $4,625... AMW Price: $4,150 SN# 4124
