EasyTREK SP-500 is the newest member of NIVELCO’s extremely successful ultrasonic level transmitter family based on NIVELCO’s 35 years of experience with ultrasonic level measurement. It offers an outstanding price/performance ratio for a wide range of applications due to its compact size, increased measuring range and reduced dead zone, features the new unit range offers over the previous models. The EasyTREK’s operation is based on the principle of measuring the time required for the ultrasound pulses to cover the distance from the sensor to the level to be measured and back. The time of flight of the reflected signal is measured and processed by the electronics. APPLICATIONS ■ Level, and volume metering of most water-based liquids in vessels and tanks. ■ It is also suitable for acids and caustic liquids ■ It covers typical wastewater applications such as basin and sump level metering just as well as open channel flow measurement.
