Surprise. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of these. I sure did. ---- The long awaited (though unexpected?) continuation of the hetalia "history of japan" videos. I've received lots of requests the past couple of years (YEARS wow) to continue the series and these videos are some of my favorite creations, so I thought I'd do some more. I have more free time, as you probably guessed with all that's happening in the world, and figured other people could do with some fun too. I hope you enjoy! Please comment and let me know your favorite bits, I have a few myself. ---- Disclaimers: I do not own any of the real photographs used in this video. Those were all taken off of Google Images and belong to their rightful owners. I do not own the audio. That belongs fully to Bill Wurtz, however I edited in some copyright free taiko drums for the short intro and then cut up the original Wurtz audio into segments. Any ad revenue from this video will go to the copyright holders of the audio. I personally make no kind of money off of this animation. I’m just sharing for fun and feedback. :) As I didn’t make the audio, I had no say over the narrative, meaning I didn’t intend to “forget” or “leave out” a certain country or historical event. I tried to be as accurate and inclusive as possible in this video and did a lot of outside research on the events as opposed to just referring to Wurtz’ original video, however mine is bound to have some inaccuracies here and there. I’m not a historian, just a boob with a search engine. This video is of course making fun of history and war, but I - nor Bill Wurtz for that matter - do not intend for any offense or to diminish the actual tragedies and conflicts. The maps are not always going to be accurate for the time period. In fact, I’ll be surprised if their accurate at least once (I’m joking of course, but map tracing tends to make me brain dead and my maps in previous videos left people unhappy even though I tried to pay attention when drawing them, so I just decided to forget about consistency or accuracy with the maps. Sorry not sorry). ---- Characters belong to Hidekaz Himaruya Audio belongs to Bill Wurtz (Original: • history of japan ) ---- Total Images (not including repeated frames): 180 Time Taken: nine days ---- Art Program: AutoDesk Sketchbook Pro 7 Drawing Tablet: Wacom Intuos Editing Program: Wondershare Filmora
