Supraglottoplasty for Laryngomalacia, Result from a Teritiary Referral Centre
Bonnie LAM , Alice SIU , Jacky LO The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Laryngomalacia is one of the most common diagnosis in young children presented with stridor. Most laryngomalacia cases are mild and can be treated conservatively. However severe laryngomalacia will predispose the child to airway distress and feeding difficulties. The treatment can be supportive or surgical by supraglottic laryngoplasty. We retrospectively reviewed the cases who underwent supraglottic larynogoplasty in the United Christian Hospital, a regional tertiary referral centre, for the period 2010-2020. In this presentation we will share the result of this review.
