Yes they are available in the game itself as data - however in the current progress of the DEMO, they are not found in the wild YET - this is due to the game's lore + story being FAITHFUL to canon, meaning Gen 1 in Kanto. HOWEVER, there are Gen 1 regional forms available to BATTLE with some trainers (meowth, rattata etc...) You CAN obtain a regional Pokemon in the demo as part of the story - but SPOILERS...
