In this video I show how to build finishing details of my Minecraft SS Edmund Fitzgerald. This completes the ship! Hey all, I just wanted to state here that there is actually ONE DETAIL that I missed on the stern. It's basically just a box really, which you can see at 46:25. Here are some instructions for how to build it: from the spool of rope, go 3 blocks out and 1 block forward. that is the inner back corner of the box. The dimensions for the box is 2 wide and 4 long total, and has a total height of 4 blocks. There is a 2x2 of trapdoors on the middle of the top. On the outer side, there are 2 stair blocks in the bottom corners, and there is a door on the side in the middle. Built in 1958, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald was a Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company of Milwaukee ore freighter which operated throughout the Great Lakes carrying taconite pellets from Minnesota's Iron Range mines to Detroit, Toledo, and other ports until November 10, 1975. When it was built, it was the Great Lakes largest freighter ever at 729 feet, and operated normally for 17 years until it was caught in a storm on Lake Superior. It tragically sank very quickly, killing all 29 crew members. The exact reason she disappeared off radar and sank so quickly remains a mystery, which is what makes the ship so mysterious and famous. There have been zero freighters sunk on the Great Lakes since the Edmund Fitzgerald went down. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Edmu... Join the Discord!
