As presented here, the 3rd generation binary trigger by Franklin Armory has thus far functioned flawlessly for me in my M&P 15-22, the only stoppages being due to light primer strikes, which occurred on this rifle with that ammo with the stock trigger before. Installation was a pain with that tiny disconnector spring, particularly as the function check for binary mode did NOT work correctly without the upper receiver attached. It was after several complete tear-downs and re-installations of the trigger system that I finally decided to just check it that way... Also, there are stops on either side of the 15-22 lower receiver that will prevent the selector switch from rotating into the 3rd position. Fortunately, it's polymer, so I was able to file them down with just the file on a pocket knife easily enough.
