Kolkata to Manali Tour by Train & Bus 🚂|| সবচেয়ে সস্তায় কি ভাবে মানালি ঘুরবেন|| Hello everyone, Welcome to our channel ‪@travelplates‬ Today, we're taking you on a journey from Kolkata to Manali and onward to Zanskar! On October 4th, we boarded the 12301 Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, which departed Howrah Station at 4:50 p.m. We booked 3rd AC tickets via the IRCTC app, costing INR 2847 each. The journey included evening snacks, dinner, and breakfast served onboard. Although the scheduled arrival at New Delhi Railway Station was set for 10:05 a.m. the next morning, the train arrived slightly ahead of time at 9:50 a.m Then we went to Ajmeri Gate Metro station/new Delhi metro station located just outside the railway station. We took a ticket for INR 20/- per head and reached ISBT Kashmere Gate Metro station. It takes just 15 minutes to reach ISBT. ISBT has a spacious lounge where we spent some time relaxing and had lunch. Later, we boarded a private bus operated by Laxmi Holidays, which cost around INR 900 per person and would take us to Manali by the following day. Our bus departed punctually at 5:00 p.m., making its first stop for dinner at 7:30 p.m. at The Vivaan in Karnal. Around 5:00 a.m. the next day, we arrived at the Manali private bus stop. From there, we took a cab to Mall Road for INR 200—there are also auto services available for the same fare. After exploring Mall Road, we found a room at the Ibex Hotel and Restaurant, where a deluxe room cost us INR 1200 per night. We freshened up and headed to Chopstick Restaurant on Mall Road for breakfast, enjoying chicken thukpa and steamed chicken momos. Next, we looked for a shared cab to Purne at the taxi union stand. However, since it was off-season, no shared cabs were available, and we were advised to book an SUV at INR 30,000 plus additional driver charges. Instead, we decided to rent bikes for the journey, with more details to come in the next video. We also booked two scooters for INR 500/- each from “Road Kings Rider” Near Hotel Aroma,Model Town, Mall Rd, Manali, Himachal Pradesh 175131 093186 46559 We paid a security deposit of INR 1000/- for the two scooters and filled up each with INR 200 worth of petrol before heading toward Solang Valley, where we spent some time soaking in the views. Afterward, we rode on to Sethan village. Although there are plenty of accommodation options in Sethan, the road up is quite challenging.
