Dynamics Dance Lesson for kids & school students - Swinging, Suspended and Vibration movement

This dance lesson was created to help teach the difference between the six dynamics in dance - Swinging, suspension, vibration, percussion, sustaining, and collapsing. This particular lesson focuses only on swinging, suspended movement, and vibration. I have another video where we explore the other three dynamics, as well as other videos where I have separated each dynamic so they can be used as a brain break or for individual learning without the warm up, game, and cool down so look out for the dynamics in dance playlist! This is a great lesson to complement learning in a school classroom and for homeschoolers to help your students meet the needs of most dance curriculums. It is also a wonderful introduction to the concept of dynamics in movement for preschoolers and kindergartners. I would also like to say dynamics in dance can be expressed in many different ways and depending on your flexibility and other factors you should hopefully be able to find many different ways other than just those that I have performed in this video - have fun exploring movement and what your individual body can do!
