Our Main Channel: @ScottandAlana4x4 This Video In Full: • Maintaining Your Freelander 2? Watch ... If you're buying rear discs and pads for your Freelander 2, make sure to get the correct ones. For diesel cars up to VIN CH999999, you will want part number LR001018. For diesel cars from VIN DH000001, you will want part number LR039935. The biggest giveaway is the disc for the earlier Freelander 2's has 5 wheel bolt holes, 1 hole for the disc locating screw and 1 hole for the handbrake adjustment mechanism. The discs for the later Freelander 2's have just 5 wheel bolt holes and 1 hole for the disc locating screw. It doesn't have the hole for the handbrake adjustment mechanism as Freelander 2's after VIN DH000001 all come with electric handbrakes. It's not just the amount of holes in them that are different, they are also different in size. Rear discs and pads for the earlier Freelander 2's won't fit onto a later Freelander 2 and vice-versa. Hopefully this is a handy little video that might prevent 1 person from buying the wrong rear discs and pads for their Freelander 2. 😀
