Welcome to the first episode of our new series Talking Tsundoku Blues in which Chris discusses Shōgun, the 1975 novel by James Clavell, and mostly forgets to compare it with the 2024 miniseries. He also speaks Japanese poorly and rambles drunkenly for much longer than necessary.
