ArcheAge : Tips & Tricks #1 Whats going on guys, Broke the gamer here and I just wanted to take a few minutes for those that are completely new to Trion's recently launched MMO, ArcheAge. The reason being, that is, the reason for this video is that I was recently new to the game, and by some standards still am new to it. But over the course of the last few days, I made a punch list of items that I learned over time, that you can do right now and instantly make your experience within ArcheAge a whole lot better... So without further a-do, here we go... 1. Make your onscreen map smaller. I can tell you, it took me more than a few minutes of digging to figure out that the button was right in front of my face, as soon as you click it, BAM, your view of that awesome ass CryEngine3 at work just got a little more amazing. 2. Update your recall location to wherever you farm is. Somewhere near your farm is a "Memory Tome".. These are easily findable by clicking "M" for map, locating the "Show Icons" list on the right side of the pop-up, uncheck everything leaving only Infrastructure checked. Now within Infrastructure, uncheck everything except for "Memory Tome". Now locate the closest memory tome on the map and go to it. once in front of it, hover your mouse over it until a cog appears and the right click. A Dialogue box should appear asking you to confirm, then voila!... Also, if farming isn't your thing? Maybe Trade-runs are! If so, place it near the specialty workbench of your favorite trade-run and save yourself HUGE amounts of time with convenience. 3. Join a MEANINGFUL guild. I'm not talking about a guild where everyone knows your name.. Or people just want to be friends and what not... Join a guild that has a clear purpose and a plan. Alternatively, if you start your own guild, make sure you have a solid plan going into it. In games like these, time is of the essence and if you don't plan well, you won't play well. non-meaningful guilds typically waste countless hours of your time. If you want to make friends, use your friends list, notice that it's totally separate from your guild? That's because guilds have a game purpose.. guys what? friends aren't their purpose.. Now, that's not saying you can't make friends within your guild, its just not the main purpose for it.
