Driven by a beautifully simple script courtesy of GPY&R, this 15 second spot is 100% CG and was created entirely in-house at Fin with the exception of the music. To grow a single plant on screen from stems belonging to many different species required the creation of thousands of lines of custom-written code. The complex light play within a plant containing tens of millions of polygons also inspired the team to deploy a brand new renderer in the form of Redshift to handle the very heavy render load.
