Welcome to Winter walking Tour in the Snow in Kaleva. In 2007, Kaleva was named the poorest region in Tampere although no areas in Finland can actually be classified as poor but somehow some areas still manage to get a bad reputation which in my opinion is totally undeserved e.g Hervanta. One of the most notable residents of Kaleva is Sanna Marin, the Former prime Minister of Finland who resigned in 2023 and now works as a strategic adviser on political leaders' reform programmes in the Tony Blair Institute since September 2023. Kaleva is an eastern part of the city of Tampere, Finland, located south of the Kauppi district. It is part of larger Sampo district. The population of Kaleva is approximately 10,000 (2005).
