The first month of the new year began with a major ball python rescue at a Fox Valley animal rescue J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue says they’re seeing a growing need for exotic pet rescues not only in Wisconsin, but throughout the Midwest. The Wisconsin-based nonprofit is reducing adoption fees. The rescue is spending hundreds of dollars every week just to feed the growing number of ball pythons, stretching its resources thin.
