The world was a different place 100 years ago. Jim Crow laws were still prevalent in the South, women were only legally given the right to vote on August 18, 1920, and the world was just coming out of the Spanish Flu pandemic that affected approximately 500 million people. Health care wasn’t the greatest and little kids were working in factories and being exploited. It's strange to think that just 100 years ago the world was a very different place. There were practices back then that could get you in hot water or jail today.
