The bauer has a beautiful symmetry and a stunning cyan color for the bottom case. This color is a 1:1 match with GMK MoDo and it is just a LOOKER. The keyboard is designed with minimal void space below the PCB, and this yields a kind of "thicker" sound. I know, that sounds weird. The Gateron Ink Blacks shine in this board, but I wish I had v1 or OG to have the best smoothness. For some reason, my batch from Novelkeys in mid 2020 is just scratchy. I ALMOST want to swap this over to some Durock linears, but I don't want to give up that deep sound. I really want to keep this board, but if the economy goes south.. who knows. To address the price - the Vickrey price for this board is $1,500, and that is more or less what I paid. Was it worth it? I'm not quite sure. But I enjoy the hell out of this damn board.
