In 1997, he released his first solo album, Magma, where he took charge of all the lyrics, composition and arrangement. Known for his diverse sound, personal lyrics, and powerful yet delicate vocals, he firmly established his identity as one of Japan's leading musicians. Alongside his creative and live work with B'z, Inaba has been holding solo tours under the title en, a word he holds dear, since 2004. In 2023, celebrating his 35th debut anniversary, he released his first book, Koshi Inaba Works Collection "Cyan". In June 2024, he released his sixth solo album, Tadamono, after a 10-year break. He also embarked on the Koshi Inaba LIVE 2024 ~enIV~ tour, featuring 17 performances across ten venues.
