Today I’m sharing a personal health update I’ve been processing quietly, and opening a deeply meaningful gift sent to me by a fellow potter on the other side of the world. It’s a reminder of the quiet power of the pottery community and the kindness behind the work we make. So many of you have been asking how I’m doing after my recent surgery, and I wanted to share an update. I’ve received my biopsy results and the best news possible — all of the diseased tissue has been removed. I’ll be healing over the next few weeks and then moving on to a short course of radiotherapy. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the messages, care, and support you’ve shown me.
