Inspired by Bruce Lee’s philosophy to “absorb what is useful, discard what is useless,” Sifu Clark embodies the spirit of open-minded exploration in martial arts. A distinguished instructor with decades of experience, Tom Clark is recognized for his deep expertise in Jeet Kune Do (JKD) — the dynamic martial art system developed by Bruce Lee. His journey began in his youth with boxing at the local Boys' Club, judo, and karate in the 1960s and '70s, laying the foundation for a lifelong path in diverse martial disciplines. Over the years, Clark has trained directly under some of Bruce Lee’s most prominent students, including Dan Inosanto, Larry Hartsell, and Richard Bustillo. He holds full instructor certification in JKD, along with extensive experience in Goju-Ryu Karate, Filipino Kali, Indonesian Silat, and submission grappling. As the founder of Practical Mixed Martial Arts Training Systems in Baltimore, Maryland, Sifu Clark offers comprehensive training rooted in real-world application. His programs include Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, and Silat — blending stand-up striking, trapping, takedowns, and ground fighting into a cohesive self-defense system.
