Located on the secluded Meradhoo island, the resort is surrounded by crystal clear turquoise waters and pristine white sandy beaches. From the moment we stepped off the seaplane and took the boat towards the island, we were blown away by the natural beauty of the surroundings. As we were taken to our villa, we were struck by the level of luxury and attention to detail that the resort has put into its design. Our villa was a stunning overwater villa, complete with a private infinity pool that overlooked the Indian Ocean. The villa was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities that one could possibly need. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a huge bathtub that overlooked the ocean. One thing that stood out to us during our stay at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo was the level of personalized service that we received. The staff at the resort were friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs. The resort has a range of dining options to suit every taste, from fine dining at the Thari restaurant, which serves up delicious Maldivian and international cuisine, to more casual dining options such as the beachside barbecue (Firepit). The food was globally very good throughout our stay, particularly the breakfast which was of very high quality. One of the many highlights of our stay at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo was the spa experience. The Raffles Spa is set over the water and offers a range of luxurious treatments. I opted for the signature Raffles Maldives massage, which was a truly indulgent experience. The therapist was highly skilled, and the massage left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The resort also has a range of activities to keep guests entertained. We went snorkeling everyday in the nearby coral reef and saw some truly stunning marine life (sharks, turtles, millions of fish,...). The resort also has a well-equipped gym, a tennis court, and a range of water sport equipments that guests can use. Overall, we can't recommend the Raffles Maldives Meradhoo Resort highly enough. From the stunning location to the luxurious accommodations, attentive service, and excellent dining options, everything about the resort is top-notch. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind, and we can't wait to go back again one day.
